Such sad news to hear and my thoughts are with the Reed family. Having spent 10 years working at Ethiopiaid I was sold on day one the partnership led model that Sir Alec championed. I was lucky enough to meet him several times during my tenure, most recently when he was bestowed a great honour by the Ethiopian Ambassador at his home last year. I loved that he would sometimes surprise us with a visit in the office and, once the hello's were done, he would grill us on the finances, ask insightful questions, and share his thoughts on our latest piece of communication. An amazing and inspiring man who has left behind an incredible legacy in the work of Ethiopiaid – a charity I will always support.
