I am saddened to learn about the passing of Sir Alec Reed CBE.

As a person of Ethiopian origin, I would like to express my thanks and appreciation for his remarkable work, generosity and contribution to transforming the lives and livelihoods of people in Ethiopia. He created innovative institutions/ charities such as Ethiopiaid, by sharing his immense entrepreneurial knowledge and resources, a testament for his striking vision and farsightedness.

My thought are with you and family during this difficult time.
