The application window for Ethiopiaid’s 2026 Small Grants Programme will open on Tuesday 1st September 2026 and close on Monday 7 September 2026.
Due to limited staff capacity, only the first 50 complete applications received will be considered. Late or incomplete applications will not be reviewed.

Historically, Ethiopiaid UK has run two funding rounds each year. However, due to increased demand and limited staff capacity, only one application round will be offered in 2026, with applications accepted in September.
Applications will be reviewed and shortlisted, and applicants will be notified of their application status by the end of November 2026.
Shortlisted organisations will be invited to resubmit their budgets and any required amendments in January 2027. Final funding decisions will be communicated in March 2027.
Due to limited funding and high demand, previous grantees are not guaranteed further funding.
We strongly recommend submitting your application as early as possible during the September submission period. This will allow time for initial feedback and help avoid any technical or internet-related issues before the final submission deadline of Monday 7 September 2026.
